Runway Prestige, an agency specialized in organizing international fashions shows, had created Maarkah as a platform to showcase modest fashion wear. The event will be held at Museum of the City of New York, on September 10th, during the next week when New York Fashion Week is taking place.

There are five fashion designers from South Africa, United States and Canada, among others, to present their latest collections in a special runway called New York Modest Fashion Show. Below, please see a complete list of designers.

On September 10, Maarkah will also host Modesty in Fashion Influencers Panel to talk about the impact of recent hype on modest fashion wear within the fashion industry. There are familiar faces in the panel including Ibtihaj Muhammad, first Muslim women Olympian medalist and activist, as well as Mariah Idrissi, first model to wear a hijab in a major international fashion campaign. Other panelsit will include Eila Mell, renown writer in the fashion industry, and Arwa Al Ammari, Award winning Saudi designer and the Arab Fashion Council Ambassador.

The list of fashion designers in the special runway show will include Jacques La Grange from South Africa, Annie Couture, Louella, and Fllumae from the United States, and Afflauts Hijab from Canada.
